Jacksonville History Cruise on the St. Johns
Join us Saturdays at 3 p.m. for a science and history river tour in Jacksonville! In conjunction with the Museum of Science and History, we offer a 30-minute narrated cruise along the St. Johns River.
Learn about Jacksonville’s history, the importance of our river over time, and the wildlife that thrives in and around the St. Johns. Our expert guides regale you with the long history of this river, which was the landing site of Spanish and French settlers in the 1500s, was explored by naturalists in the 1700s, and much more.
Learn about the early construction on the river, the wildlife that calls it home, and the ecosystems that thrive here. There is so much to discover!
This is a fun excursion for the whole family, and it’s interesting for first-time visitors and locals alike. You’re sure to learn something as you cruise along the river!
This cruise boards at the Friendship Fountain dock at 2:55 p.m.
If we don’t reach our minimum capacity for our tours to go out, we will reach out to reschedule.
